My TV is Samsung CS-29M40ML and


Graphic card on my laptop is ATI RADEON 4500 series



I have VGA to COMPONENT( RED BLUE GREEN) cable


My TV manual says YPrPb port supports 480i resolution...



.......plz help

Are you certain that your video card supports component over vga? Only a few cards actually will do that, that cable is only meant for those certain cards.

Then if that's the case, you would have to make sure your laptop is set to output 480i if you want it to work with the tv. This is assuming you have solved the issue above.

how to know that?

my graphic card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 series---- as shown in device manager under the Display Adaptors

Are you sure thats the correct card? You said you only have vga out, thhose specs say it has dvi and hdmi out.


But either way, i dont see anything listed there saying you can do component over vga.

You would have to go into your graphics card output settings.
