i bought a pile of these little boogers:


monoprice keystone terminal number 2991


but what's the best way to put speaker wire on the back?

solder? (takes forever to heat up the whole thing enough to wick the solder)

ring terminal? (none I had would fit)


FWIW, home depot sells some of this stuff, in case you are mid job and need some more.

it does say right in the description that there is a solder cup on the backside of the connector. so solder would be the way to go.


you may want to invest in a better iron if you cant get it heated up enough.
