I have a

Sharp M20X PJ and

both a progressive DVD and a new Motorola 5100 Comcast cable box HD.

To complicate this post, I have one DVI-D port on the PJ with a

RGB & DVI-I to DVI-D cable.

My computer is hooked up to the DVI-I input.

And my Progressive DVD is hooked up to the RGB input with a

(component to RGB) cable.

Everything worked great until I got a new HD cable box.

The picture is great but the problem is now I have two componet devices.

Thus I need to be able to switch between the two.

Do I

Option A. use a component switch box and run RGB from the component switch box to the PJ's RGB input ( with a component to RGB converter) or

Option B. use a RGB switch box and run RGB from the switch box to the PJ's RGB input. This option would requied two component to RGB cables in order to get the component feeds from the two devices into the RGB switch box.

I know this sounds odd, but it is a real question. Please help.

You're going to have to use a component switchbox. Audio Authoiry makes a new model that would work for you. It's auto sensing. You would brobaly have to use a component to rgb cable going back to the projector though.
