I saw a posting on this on a thread the other week - but don't remeber what to ask for or the process.

Can someone please let me know the process.

You can only get the east/west networks from DTV if you give an address in one of the few areas of the country w.o. an OTA signal. (In theory, you can get a network IF you get a waiver from your local station. That is rarely done for obvious reasons.)

Another way is to tell them it will be installed in your RV. They will want a copy of your/a registration.

DISH's requirements are about the same - but they historically have not been so strict in interpreting the dumb rules. With DISH you have a choice of channels from several diff. cities. With DTV it is LA/NYC.

BEV, the Canadian system offers both east and west networks - and in HDTV! of course you need to be at a Canadian address.

This is not true. They called me, I never ask for a waiver. They only offer

analog, no HD. I get net-work HD OTA so I told them no.
