Something to keep in mind. The certification is the easy part. There are some 1900 or so people certified and likely 30 more every 2 weeks. Likely less than 10 of these people do calibration work as a full time job.
Attend the 2 day seminar and write the exam and you are certified.
But as Joel Silver says, the Seminar provides you with a good foundation on imaging. Where you go from there is entirely up to you.
The real learning starts after the seminar and there are no books for that.
