How to record HD from a STB?
Is there a way to capture HD TV content via a component video/analog audio connection to a MCE PC? The only access to HD content I have is from a set top box that outputs via the normal TV/Audio System connections.

Do a search for nextcomm Wireless r5000hd. This is a modification of the cable box that allows you to record via USB2. Another method is Firewire, but you probably won't get all the available HD channels.
