guys, I have a LC-42D64U that has built-in tv tuner. I am curious as how can I record TV shows. I only have ota tv reception that I wan to record some shows. I do not want to pay for tivo service. Is there any cheap and easy way to get it to work?


I saw this product but I am not sure if it will work for me: Masscool MP-1370S 'Media Mate' Media

How are you going to get the HD programs to the masscool or to any other device capable of recording them from the TV?

that was what I was wondering as well. From what I can tell, to record any show, i must have a device with tuner that not only has a video in and video out so the signal can be transmitted. Am I mistaken? Looks to me that in order for me to record any show, I need an external tuner that also has a recorder in it.
