Your only option is likely to format the hard drive with the camera's built-in formatting utility and to hope that fixes it. Even if you took the drive out of the camera, it is highly unlikely that you could scandisk it in a computer (even that would take special cables since it is a 1.5" drive probably) as it is likely in a proprietory format at the level it would do any good.
If formatting it with the built-in utility doesn't work, your best bet is to call support at Pany.
