Does anyone know how to set my GWIII to turn on everytime on Full/Wide mode instead of the default 4:3 mode? The manual is kind of confusing.

Thanks

Wont it default to the same aspect ratio it was shut off in?

I would think it would remember this setting, but I guess I haven't actually experimented with this. Isn't there a settings menu option that you can toggle with regards to some of this?

In any case, you could always hook it up to a 720p or 1080i source, and leave it selecting this input when you turn it on and off. This will certainly force it to "Full" mode.

Press the "Wide" button on the remote to cycle through the different Screen Display modes. Cycle through until you get to "Full". Also, if you go into the Menu -> Screen, you can set the Wide Mode to "Full". You can also set the 4:3 default to "Full" so that the set will automatically switch to "Full" mode whenever a 4:3 image is detected.

If you are displaying an image from an upconverting DVD player or a HD STB, you may need to set the Wide Mode in the image source appropriately.
