Now that Samsung has a DVD player with a DVI output, and HDTV set top box's using DVI output, how would one handle switching between the two with a TV that only has one DVI input?

Anyone?

Have you tried component vs DVI on your stb? Some people here claim component is as good or close to DVI. If not, manual switching or the Geffin are the only choices available right now.


I am waiting for a HD sat receiver. I may have the same problem.

Many people just use two cables and plug by hand. Some see a better picture this way (some noise in the switch, depending on model and situation).


Of course, the cable answer is *not* one to increase the WAF!
