all of a sudden it seems that i can't get any DD5.1 from my cable box. i use a optical cable.


would i still get sound if my optical cable is bad? or would i not have any sound?


i tried using the opti with my PS2 while playing a movie and still no DD5.1 i had sound but no 5.1


my dvd player uses a coax for digital sound and that works fine.


could it be my reciever or optical cable?

dtc5100 was set wrong back to sweet 5.1 audio
