Ok,


I finally built a system, it's more than an HTPC, but I would like to know how to test the performance, of CPU, memory, HDD (SATA III and SSD).

Why? Just use it. That's how I test mine.

Hey,


Try Prime 95


It will torture test your CPU. You could run it for 24 hours to test stability under load etc.

Crystal Disk Mark is good for checking disk speed. But what good, really, are benchmarks? Why not put your rig through its paces by doing some AVC encoding with HandBrake or copying a large ISO or three?

Hmm , you know now that I think about it a bit , it may be a bit of an overkill
