How to toggle closed cation in VMC?

You will have to run a third-party program in the background which intercepts the signals from the remote control and translates it into keyboard shortcuts.

What remote control do you have? IrTrans? RC6?


I use AutoHotKey which is great for RC6 remotes. It runs a small script in the system tray with a few lines of code. I can send it to you when I get home tonight.

Windows has a keyboard shorcut for all functions.


Subtitles: Ctrl + U

Audio Tracks: Control + Shift + A

Basically AHK will receive the remote signal and emulate the specific shortcut.
