Looks phenomenal but haven't seen any reviews for it.


My local dealer has an open box for a substantial discount and I was considering it.


Would, say, a VTF-3 MKII from Hsu be more worth my money (different leagues of subs, I know..) ?


Or would I be better off with a PB1/PB2 from SVS?

I own the Nova MKIV-12 and it's been a decent performer in a 1500 Cubic foot room. I am in the process of replacing it with another brand. I think there are better offerings in that price range in the sub market right now IMHO.


I'd audition the Nova in your room and see what the results would be and if you are happy with the performance, then go for it. Seriously consider the HSU/SVS product lines.


As you don't provide room size and a bit of info on your room, considerations are appearance, sub size and listening tastes. My experience may be different from yours, but the HSU and SVS offerings should warrant more attention.
