I would not recommend a CRT (such as the one you linked to) for gaming due to risk of burn-in.

A LCD is only ok for gaming if it has a response time of 16ms or less.

A CRT is the best otherwise based on response time. Burn in may be an issue if there a lot of static displays as part of the games you play.
