HP LC3760N comp video jack came apart

I've had this set for about a month now. I use monster component cables. they hold on very tight if you are familiar. I went to re-arrange my setup and when I unplugged my cables, one of them took the silver outer shell portion of the component video jack with it.

do you understand? just the shell part. anyhow, I sort of pushed it back in, with the cable still connected, and everything seems to work ok but I must say I'm a bit pissed about the whole thing. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm sure if I call HP, they are going to tell me to send it to them, this that, the other thing, and I'll be out of a TV for a month.

Maybe I should just get some HDMI cables. Nonetheless, even though everything works alright, I still don't feel good about that.

What is your opinion on this?
