Try re-booting it.
First try the software restart available under Settings.
If that doesn't improve things, then try the RBR button.
The next thing to try is to unplug it for aroung 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
I agree that there seem to be more sound and pixellation problems since the latest software upgrade.
