I'm really enjoying my new HS10. I've had the projector for about a week now and I'm loving every minute!

One thing that I've noticed is how crappy my satellite looks on it though. I'm running S-Vid to the projector, is there any way that the HS10 can upscale the video to something better?

When I watch "conventional" TV instead of HDTV or my progressive scan DVD player, I set the HS10's deinterlacer to "Film". This obviously doesn't make it HD, but it makes it a much more watchable picture.

I had the same problem as bisk, using the S video output of my Dish Network receiver with my HS10. The images were viewable, but just barely. Then, I went to the wide, dynamic mode and what a difference! Even though I'm losing the top and bottom of 4:3 images, the resulting pictures are much more pleasing to view. Next, I'll try scaling up my satellite images through my Samsung SIR-T165 HDTV receiver and comparing its' component and DVI outputs.
