I have to do a new setup to an old HS2000. What steps do I take to obtain the KEY number?

When I turn on the unit it wants tel #, etc. and I can get it to dial. However, I cannot access a menu screen to get the key #, so I can changeover my access info.

Be easy, I'm new to this stuff.

Thanks,

WJ:confused:

If you are the first person to use this recorder it will have OS 2.0 which can not connect. You can reimage it yourself using a downloaded disk image ftp://136.142.153.176/Panasonic%20PV...order%20image/

Here is how you can get out of quicksetup. Reboot the recorder by holding the power button on the unit in for 10 seconds. When it finished booting and it's at quicksetup again press 49152 and then the "zones" button. You will be at normal replay screens. To verify what OS you have press 411 and then "zones" within 5 seconds. Read the top line. If it says 2.0 you must reimage the drive. 3.0 build 107 is known for connection troubles but there are tricks to overcome it. Post back or email me if that is the case.
