If an HT1000 is purchased in the USA does anyone know if the Warranty is good in Canada? I believe it is.

All the NEC projector warranties I have seen are good in both countries but you should check their web site or call their support line to be sure.

I notice on their website that when you register your warranty, the form accepts both states and provinces. I have also heard on this forum (but can't remember where I saw it) that the warranty is good in both countries regardless of where it was purchased.

It is covered in both, not only did I check with NEC before my purchase but I've set it up to go in for servicing here in Canada as my DVI connection doesn't work properly.

By the way DVI ports are notoriously difficult to get working. I have a brand new DELL computer with 17 inch flat panel monitor and right out of the box the DVI port does not work on the monitor. DELL is being swamped with DVI support questions right now.
