I remember seeing something about fan noise on the HT1000 but I can't find it now. Does anyone know how to eliminate the buzzing of the fan? It usually goes away after awhile but I have the feeling that it won't get any better on it's own.

on eco mode, the NEC barely rose above a whisper when i saw it.

couldn't believe how quiet it was.


i think normal mode was a different story, but i never spent any time with it like that.


iirc, one person had issues with the fan on his HT and it ended up needing to be sent in and fixed and was fine after that.

Periodically vacuuming the intake vent is recommended.
