Hi,

Can I just say this board is like a gift from the divine. Its brilliant all this info just a few clicks away. Now onto the questions, I'm going to get a HT200(I hope) but am somewhat confused with the differing opinion about the throw distance. One site tells me 2.2x the width of the screen and another tells me something different. My HT room will be about 15 foot long and I want a picture size of about 86 inches wide. First question is, what size picture can I get from a 15 foot long room? My second question is if I bought a Panamorph or IscoII will this shorten the distance the projector has to be from the screen?

Any info much appreciated.

Hi Mike,

The 2.2 number is correct. I have an HT-200 and my room is about 16' deep. Considering that the projector is about 1' deep plus cables, etc. I am stuck with a 72" x 40.5" 16:9 screen which translates to about an 86" diagonal screen size. The one benefit to the smaller size is that the image is stunning. Good luck.
