I have had a pair of Home Theater Direct Level 3 bookshelf speakers for about 3 years. I've used an older pair of Sony speakers for the surrounds just out of financial necessity. I'm now ready to get a matching pair of speakers for my surrounds (and possibly for rear surrounds as well). While I know they have their drawbacks, I've been happy with the value I've gotten from my HTD Level 3's.

My question is will the Level 2's be an adequate choice for my surround speakers or should I stick with the matching set of Level 3's?

Its not so much of a cost issue, but the smaller size of the Level 2's are attractive in my fairly space constrained living room/theater.
