I have the Panasonic HT-940 HTIB. Now i am in the process of buying a new receiver probably the Yamaha RXV-2700.

Now my question is: I have all my new speakers in for my new system. I want to hear them. Was wondering if i hooked them up to the back of my HTIB receiver if they would work?. And if they do will they sound that great? Or will i harm the speakers or receiver.

I'm just anxious and want to hear them. Can't wait for the new receiver to be sent.

Ant comments please.

It shouldn't harm the speakers or receiver, you might overload the receiver as it's vastly underpowered just don't get crazy with it and if you notice any clipping or distortion don't go there.

Will they sound better than the inluded HTIB spekaers? "YES".

Will they sound as good as if you hooked them up to the RXV-2700? "Not a chance"
