Hey everyone.. I've been into HTPCing for a while by am fairly new at the form..
This is was I have
Samsung 50" Plasma
Gigabyte GA-P31-S3L
Using On Board Audio via coaxial
Windows 7 Media Center
SLS Q-Line Gold Receiver and 6.1 setup
Problem I'm having is when it comes to 5.1 stuff. I'm getting separation between the front L, center, and front R but it sounds like the rear L and rear R are mix together. Whatever comes out of one comes out of the other. Even when I do the speaker tone test in media center.
When I do a tone test on the receiver itself, they are all separate. So, originally, I thought it might be a sound card issue. But, here is the weird part. If I go into the control panel and select the optical output and set Dolby output for it and click the test tone button, there is speaker separation.
So, it seems like the only time the rears are mixed are within Media Center
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
