hey ive got a 42 inch led lcd panasonic viera and ive connected it to my pc using a DVI - HDMI cable and im not 100% sure if i can get it to look better than what it is at the moment. the main thing im not happy with is the way it looks when im using it for something other than just watching videos so i was just wondering what do i need to do to make it better like cables softwear graphics cards ect... any help will be great thanks

its 1768x992 but when i go larger than that to 1920 x 1080 it causes the picture to become much better but then its actually too big how can i fix that like put the imagin back into the center of the screen

on the tv's picture menu try this setting:


go to advanced, and then screen size, select HD2. then run your htpc at 1920x1080.


navigating the service menu on panasonic tvs isnt too difficult. you can find plenty of info on calibration in the tv forum.
