Want a DVR, access hulu.com, ability to play BluRay, in that order.

Win7 RC1, but where/how does one download and install?

Case: Antec

PSU--

Antec earthwatts EA430 430W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371006

or SeaSonic SS-400ET 400W ATX12V V2.2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151061

or something with less wattage?
Mobo. ASUS M3A78-CM AM2+ 95W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131330 .

Should I wait for the 785G release?
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition Kuma 2.8GHz

Is there something will less wattage I should consider?
TV Tuner.

SiliconDust HDHomeRun Network-based Dual Digital HDTV or

AVerMedia AVerTVHD Duet - PCTV Tuner (A188 - White Box) - OEM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815100041

Hard Drive

Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136317

RAM: CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB)

Wirelss N Adapter

LINKSYS WMP110 PCI RangePlus Wireless PCI Adapter - Retail

is this too high in height? Is a USB draft N adapter likely too slow?

You could try the Phenom II 905e with a Scythe Mini Ninja. It might be a bit overkill for what you're looking at, but it can run without a fan on the mini ninja and would fit in that case.

I have it in a tower case and it runs pretty cool. It can ramp up to 2.9ghz without any real increase in temperatures too.

It's also about 3x the cost of the one you picked out. heh.

If you don't add a discrete graphics card, perhaps you'd better choose a 785G mb (overall better IGP, multichannel LPCM over HDMI [if you need it]), and Athlon II X2 245 2.9GHz, $65.

renethx, I like your recc. of the Athlon II X2 245 2.9GHz. What is IGP? What is LPCM HDMI?

All, thanks so far. What about my questions on power supply?

whether that Ethernet card would be too high for the case?

TV Tuner?

Where/how to download Win 7 RC1?

I read the reviews on at newegg on the Scythe Ninja "mini": not so mini.

IGP is integrated graphics processor (integrated in the mb chipset). LPCM is the standard uncompressed digital audio format.

PSU is good.

As your case supports full-height expansion cards, your cards will fit the case.

Ninja mini is much smaller than the original Ninja and specifically designed for this case. A good cooler. You can even use it witout a fan (enough for a 65W processor).

Windows 7 RC (through August 20).
