Hi,


Can anybody help with power settings for my home theater.


I have 4TB drives on a gigabyte MB.


I wanted to save wear and tear but not sure if I just use the power settings to turn of the drives.


All help is appreciated.

Oh boy, yer gonna get all kind of opinions here akin to how often should one change the car's oil.


Without more information from you as to YOUR usage pattern, I'd go with 30 minutes idle b4r sleep.

Usage is on all day for adding movies but only about 4hrs at night watching.
