The GT460 is your sound card. If your AVR is HD capable, you're set.
HTPC Sound Card
Hello Everyone,
So I building a new HTPC and really need some help. How do you all have your Sound Card connected? My old HTPC simply had the green Audio out connected to some speakers. I plan on using a receiver and running a HD (1080) cable from my graphics card (GT460) to the receiver then to the TV.

So their is no need for an Sound Card to be used?
