HTPC video card problems

I have a HTPC that has a sapphire ATI radeon 9800. I have all of the colors set to default on the video card, and it looks horrible. I have set calibrated with Avia for my HD Tivo and DVD player. Everything is running through the same input so I really can't start adjust the TV, otherwise everything else will look horrible.


I am very new to HTPC and was wondering if there is something that I can do to make the pic look good. The whites are very hot and the blacks are a grey. Everything else in b/w is off just as far.


Any thoughts?
