I'm used to playback my DVD to my Sony RPTV via Sony DVP-S715 player.

When my new dedicated cinema room are soon to be finished, an HTPC will be used for playback on my Marquee8500 CRT projector.

After reading the forum, the ATI Radeon graphics seems to be my choice for display, but I'm not sure about witch sound card to use.

Have already an SB Live! card that will be moved from one of my machines to the one in the cinema. Is the Live! card ok?

Best regards

Do a search on the forum for SBLive. There are some that ouput the wrong voltage for SPDIF and can damage your receiver. For the best audio, the MAudio line of cards are recommended. You just spent major dollars on the media room. Why go cheap now by using the SB Live?
