Hmmm... really? No one knows ANYTHING about this TV? Maybe it comes with a 100,000 miles warranty?

Does anyone own a Hyundai TV other than this and has dealt with their customer service? I'm trying to decide if the 100 bucks I would save on the set would be worth it or not.

I say that because my TV came DOA. The problem with hyundai is (and why you can't find any info on this TV) that they are too new in this particular business. Like their vehicle manufacturing, they have been in too much of a rush to get into the market. So, the quality stinks and customer service is non-existent. I fell for the price and specs too, but buyer beware!

If you can get a hold of anyone at customer service (should you need to) -they don't make it easy. First, the website they published was either down, or not in existence. The phone published led only to a voicemail, which the box was full so i could even leave a message. All the while, my DOA warranty time of 30 days is ticking (and thats from the purchase date, not the date i recieved it from AIP shipping). It appears that I would not have been able to get a hold of anyone, save the fact that I began randomly dialing in phone extensions until i got someone. He was nice, but tried to direct me to the website that did not exist. After several calls to the same extension, the gentleman dircted me to another website where I was able to apply for an RMA. I have currently been waiting nearly 30 days and my TV has yet to be picked up. I was told it takes between 15-20 business days to get the TV picked up, fixed and returned. That's on top of the nearly 30 days it has taken me to get a hold of someone. Not to mention the vaction days I have had to take (and will have to take) to schedule deliveries/pick-ups.

Suffice to say, I will be calling the BBB (if that does any good) and explaining my situation. At this point, you would have to be a fool to take chance on spending that kind of money on Hyundai.
