When I run cable directly from the wall to my TV, I have audio. But when I run through a cable box and HDMI to my TV, no audio. It was working yesterday, but I don't know if the kids hit something on a remote or what. It seems I have tried every different setting, just wondering if anybody has any input for me.

Thank you in advance

Have you tried "jiggling" the HDMI connector?

Not sure if you were serious or not but I did just try that with no luck. I do have video via HDMI, just no audio and I have tried 2 HDMI cables.

I just hooked up the Red and White cables to the TV from the cable box and now I have audio. Weird that I never had to do that before. Oh well.

Problem solved, thank you.

Apparently you were using an HDMI connection on your TV that supported audio via either HDMI or R&W strereo and you somehow told your TV that you were using R&W stereo for audio instead of HDMI over the connection you are using.

Read the manuals? No offense but it's hard to answer your question not knowing the makes and models of the equipment involved...
