I am getting 2 rings on the left side on my console.

Evey time I play a game, like ten minutes into the game the xbox 360 shuts down and the 2 rings appear on the left side. I know 3 rings mean the console is dead but does any one know what these 2 rings may be the cause of? I am seriously getting pissed at MS.

Before any one saids any thing, the 360 sits on my dresser with nothing around it . It is more than well ventialted. If there is a serious problem this will only be my 2nd 360. the first one completely craped out on me.

Another tidbit, the MFR on this xbox is 05-09-2006. So does any one have an idea what the problem could be before I call for the coffin.

I think it is pretty much shot. I have made sure it is recieveing enough air but is gone. Got to call MS. OH well.

thats crazy, it takes like 45 min for mine, wrapped tightly in a towel to overheat.

Get some air in a can and clean the xbox out their may be some dust preventing full venting.

Make sure the fans are working and blowing air....

Otherwis call MS for a Fix..
