Hi guys,

I have been trying to set up my system for testing the last few days and am having trouble getting the Lumagen to work with the projector. I am using a BenQ PE8720 projector, a 35' monoprice HDMI cable from the Lumagen to the BenQ (I have also used a 1.5' cable to make sure that the distance or cable was not the problem), and monoprice HDMI to DVI connectors for the Lumagen DVI ins and out. The problem is when I try to use the HDMI input on the projector, it says "HDMI(Unsupported)". Even when I disconnect the sources from the Lumagen, I still get the same message. Unfortunately, I can not even access the menus on the Lumagen to check any settings b/c the projector just displays a blue screen and the HDMI message. I tried to connect the Lumagen to my plasma to see if it would work there, but I just get a blank screen on the plasma. I installed the newest updates for the Lumagen but it did not help.

Any ideas?

Thanks Gordon,

That was the first thing I tried today and it didn't seem to help, so I tried downloading the latest updates, and that didn't help, but then I talked with a support rep at Lumagen (very helpful, btw) and he suggested trying the reset code again and it worked. I may have just entered the wrong code or not hit the ir sensor the first time, but for whatever reason, it works now and I should be all set. Thanks, again.
