You missed a better deal on that drive (250GB) earlier when it was $110. There was a deal also where you would get a $25 gift card with it, but I missed out on that one. Still, I picked up 16 of them at that price and have gotten most of my rebates now.


There was a deal Sunday for an 80GB drive for $20 at OfficeMax, but that one didn't last long. Stock was sold out within minutes.

Every Western Digital drive I have had has failed in a year or less. I will never buy one again.

I have several that are still running from 1998. As for failing drives, that is what RAID is for. And as for using other drives, they too will fail. All drives eventually fail - it is just a matter of time.
