I got both Pirates movies from Amazon for $17.90 with the $30 off w/ card..Worth it?

They offer the $30 off first purchase with new Amazon.com Visa...so i did that for both of the Pirates BD's. After the discount it is $17.90 w/ the two day free shipping.

Am i going to be happy with this...i just like to hear positivity

I am positvely gonna say they are 2 movies that would actually be worth spending 30 dollars a piece for. Yes. They are more then worth it.

i will be glad to, always happy to report things here as it is almost 100% positivity here. i had a few mishaps in the tier ratings board not agreeing with some of the placements and their was tension...but other than that i love it here.

Yup....

I got my first gift certificate 1 month into owning the card

I figure I've paid 0$ interest. The card is completely paid off, ie no balance.

I've gotten 30$ back from the promo, 10$ back from a temporary promo, and 25$ back from a gift certificate.

It's been a darn good card

I paid about $5 for both. I did amazon's credit card and buy.com's card got 2 day shipping on both and will have to pay $5 total on the balance. pretty good deal.

am i the only person in the world that feels "dead mans chest" was a big steaming pile of dog doodoo when compared to "curse"

nevermind, just read hidefdigest review of dead mans chest, glad someone saw the same movie i did.

So with this Amazon card, do you gets points towards future purchases or anything? Or is it just that initial $30 off and that's it?

A point for each dollar spent, 3 points for dollars spent at Amazon. Accumulate 2500 points and you get a $25 Amazon GC.

which means sadly you must spend about $833 before you get only $25 back.

I think best buy reward zone is better, but oh well!
