Hello All,

I guess I won't be getting DTS from my 30000u. I was hoping that I got a newer version player that would do DTS (I bought it about 4 months ago). My Lexicon MC-1 just recognizes it as AC-3 (dolby digital). Is there a firmware update that can give me DTS? I just got Alien today, and would love to hear it in uncompressed DTS SOUND. Thanks for any input!

I don't think you will be able to, from what I hear. Still DTS isn't uncompressed. It is full bit rate DTS on D-Theater, but full bit rate DTS is still compressed - just not as compressed as AC-3.
