I know what I need...who has an Electrohome switcher?

318 Views 8 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  SunTECH
I've determined that what I really need for my system is an Electrohome

switcher to go with my Marquee.

Assuming, of course, that an RGB module can pass HD component as readily

as it can pass RGB.

If so, I'd like to find one with about six or seven RGB inputs plus composite

or S-video inputs in the other slots.

It'll finally allow me to connect all my gear at once. Right now I have some

rarely used sources just because I don't have a way to switch between them

all so I have to go play Cable Monkey sometimes.

I'd hate to try to diagram my entire system with everything hooked up!

I have a few here too if you can't find one...

Nick
I just snapped one up on ebay for 12 bucks, buy it now! Thanks, Clarence!

But as for what cards are in it, I have NO idea. No photos in the auction,

but I figure the chassis alone is worth 12 bucks!

I have seen very few of those that were fully populated, so expect that I'll be

looking for input cards. Let me know what you've got.

Hi Nick,

Can you PM me a price for a couple of the 5BNC input cards, ideally the ones without loop-thru.

Thanks,

Clarence

Dang... I was hoping you saw my 2nd PM... that's the part# (and price) for just the paper manual.

The seller's usually a good guy though, so it might just be a minor disappointment.

Don't worry about it. I've been looking for that manual anyway as it can tell

me something I want to know.

If I just bought a manual rather than a switcher, that's OK with me, for the price.

If that's the deal, then I guess I'm still looking for a switcher.

Nick, PM me please!
Guys,

The switcher has five RGB500 input modules and one composit/S-Video card.

I really don't want to break it up. PM if you're interested....

Thanks,

Nick
