Hi there,

I have an outdoor volume control knob -- and I think that I might have damaged it. It is rated for 60w per channel, and when I turn it up, the protection light on my amp light up.

Does anyone know of a good higher power outdoor volume control? The amp is a Crown Com-Tech 210 (100wpc).

Or should I consider getting a higher power indoor volume control, and mouning it in a weatherproof box?

Thanks!

I have used many of the these Russound outdoor volume controls with no issues with high power.

Hey Matt,

Thanks for the reply - my only concern is the "42 watts per channel RMS" - that seems low - and the amp is rated at 100RMS.

Am I wrong for thinking that?

I have used the a Russound with 100 rms with no problems.

Niles does seem like a better solution for your specs and it has more attenuation than the Russound.
