have a 61 inch Samsung 87 DLP on order - been on back order for over a month. After reading more, I'm not for sure I've made a good choice.


Are the Mitsus & LcOs much better?

Much better? No. Samsung DLP, Mits DLP, and Sony LCOS -- flip a coin since they are all excellent, or better yet, go look at them in stores and go with whichever looks better to your eyes (none of these is "better" than another).
