Which HDMI is better than the other. 1.3a or 1.3b? Also I have two powered subs in my theater and I connected the each powered subs with Coaxial audio cables because I thought they would be better and I used coaxial y connectors. Out of my Harmon Kardon I did a 1 Male to two female and on each sub-woofer I used one female to two females to connect them to the right and left on the sub-woofers.The subs I'm using is a Cerwin Vegas 10" powered sun and one 15" sub-woofer. Is this better than using RCA jacks or is the coaxial audio jacks the better way to go because its all digital and shielded better. I really need your opinion on the HDMI's and the audio coaxial for my powered subs? Thanks in advance. Take care. Jonathan

Any cable that doesn't pick up interference is good.

There is only a regular HDMI and they are rated by speed. Some cables have 21.9 GPS (Giga Bytes per second) and others have 12.5 GPS I went with the 21.9 GPS and they cost $169 for one. I have 6 connection so I spent way to much for my HDMI's. Because the one I have can handle 3D movies and the Top Gaming systems with no Glitches I was wondering if they have made an HDMI higher than the one I have now?? Mine are the Monster M series 1000 HD.

The HDMI spec includes bandwidth requirements. "High-speed" cables address existing HDMI requirements.

Sorry to say but, yes, you did.

As I understand it, the up-coming HDMI 2.0 spec will require greater bandwidth capabilities (for 4K video) and new connectors (both on cables and on sources and displays).
