I really need some quick responses because I need to make a decision. I'm thinking about buying the EX400.

Its not good for Gaming, Its not good as a PC Monitor, side by side the 2009 model looked better that it to me at best buy. I could tell that on Max 10 Backlight it was dimmer than most 32 LCD's lower than 400cd/m2 I would guess.

What didn't you like about it as a PC monitor?

well make sure you get a Samsung S panel

Look for this sticker on the box that starts with an "S"

bottom right before buying it. Similar box of the 720p 32 inch Samsung

As a PC Monitor make sure that it can accept 1080p with your PC. And Samsung will IMO break down and fail, not to mention alot of people report Buzzing which is not a problem watching TV but as a PC monitor that would be bad.

oh damn, it's bad for gaming? well i just bought it and on my 360 it looks kinda bad. maybe it's because everything is on default. does anyone know what settings i should have it on to look better? what should the sharpness, contrast, etc. be? also i didnt buy a hdmi. planning on doing it soon.
