Hello all,

I think I just reduced the noise from my Panny's fan by 20 to 30 percent.

I went down to Home Depot and picked up 8 #4 nylon washers and 4 #4 nylon nuts. I added a washer on either side of the chassis and replaced the nut with a nylon one.

So far so good, someone please give this a try.

After playing around for an hour or so, I've learned that you can reduce the noise slightly with nylon washers and nuts. However, it appears that most of the noise is caused by airflow and not by the fan itself, or contact with the frame. The fan itself is virtually silent. I'm going to try some more things and I'll let you know later if I have any good results.

Whatever Noise suppression technique you come up with, the HD100 owners can also apply that. This is board is great. =)
