I've got a system in my theater using two URC remotes (an mx-3000 and mx-980) and a basestation (currently an mrf-350 until I stop being too lazy to reprogram everything for the msc-400 I bought). I also have a Lutron Maestro IR 600 switch controlling all of the light for the room. I love the switch, but I don't like having to point the remote at it while I'm using my macros. What I would like to do is take a mono 3.5 cable, cut off one side and hardwire it into the the back of the switch between the ir sensor and circuit. Has anyone tried this? I'm prepared to buy a second switch to use as a test dummy, but I would certainly appreciate any experience or insight.
Thank you in advance.
