I tuned in my local digital OTA FOX affiliate (WTNZ) to watch Boston Public, and found that they showed it in 4x3 instead of 16x9. I just got my OTA antenna going, so I haven't tried watching FOX on a show that should be 16x9 before. Does anyone know if the Knoxville affiliate (WTNZ) just refuses to pass 16x9 or if they just messed up this time? Do most of the affiliates pass 16x9?

I saw it in 16x9 in Austin... I'd guess that most affiliates do, since after all it's "FOX Widescreen"....


Maybe a problem with your local affiliate? Is there a local programming thread for your area that you might be able to check in with?

Many Fox Affiliates Don't Pass Fox Widescreen, The Dayton station doesn't(and never has since they first came on air 5/1/02), but luckily the Fox affiliate in Cincinnati does and Boston Public(as well as the Fox shows tonight between 8-9pm) was in Fox Widescreen tonight in Cincinnati ..

I was just going to ask the same thing, in Chgo, BP was 4x3.
