Has anyone built a basement home theater in a house with ICF (Insulated Concrete Form)? I'm curious to know what people's results have been using this latest in building technology.

I'm planning on building a house with ICF walls top to bottom, and, for heavy storm/tornado safety, thought about actually constructing all the walls of the home theater, including the interior walls, out of ICF. Supposedly, this should have the added benefit of reduced sound transmission out of the room overall. But what about bass frequencies? Will the concrete tend to transmit the low vibrations everywhere?

My brother built his home's basement foundation using this method about 5 years ago. He was pleased; but, broke new ground with the County which was painful (he was also using the insulated structural wall panels which also broke new ground). You shouldn't have that problem in MN...HOmetime has been there, done that already.
