Was going to try goof off, but afraid it might eat the duratex as wellGot a older hsu sub with the duratex finish, and the guy used duct tape all over it to tape cardboard over the speaker to move it. Any idea how to get the tape residue off?

I believe that it's the vegetable oil that does the work. The emulsifier just keeps it from running.
I have used it to remove the residue from the stickers that auto dealers put on new cars they've sold. (I always peel them off. I don't care to advertise where I bought my car.)
I can't swear that it won't attack Duratex, but I know of no gentler solvent that would be of any use.
