Ken Ross and All,

A new "digital board" running updated software was recently installed in my IQB64W10W. How does one identify the version of the software currently running? In the service menu I see "CPU: 3.75" and "MIC: 14.01." (Yes, fourteen-point-zero-one.)

Dave,

Now you're REALLY confusing things. I'm baffled by your #s. The software version is the number immediately following the CPU. I am totally confused as to why you would have such a low software version # following an upgrade (I believe they're up to 4.91 or something like that). I have no idea what the "MIC" number is, but I know it's not the software version. Something doesn't sound right.

I asked you on another thread if you've tried a progressive DVD player yet.

Allen Schatten, the technician who replaced my digital board thinks that the CPU number refers to the CPU itself and that the MIC number refers to software. I myself have no clue and I don't have access to a progressive output DVD player. My HTPC outputs progresssive video but via RGBHV, not via Y, Pb, Pr.
