I want to build a new HTPC. If Im not in a hurry, whats in the horizon for mobos, maybe 6-9 months ahead? thanks in advance

ha.. I think only Asus can answer your question, they must have some idea since they've got almost 1/2 of the MB shippments worldwide..

But to be frank, unless there are some breat through from the chip vendors side, not much to be expected on an integrated board.


I mean, MB are usually very cheap, and additional components for special functions are usually expansive...

Working PAP so we can get lossless audio via HDMI but maybe that is asking a bit much!
